Similar to most couples, we have many dates we celebrate. On a cold but sunny November 20, 2011, I first met the love of my life! As luck would have it, my car wouldn't start the morning of our proposed breakfast rendezvous. Luckily, this (unusually) patient man decided to wait the 45 minutes it took me to eventually arrive at Beth's Cafe in Seattle.
And, so, we see November 20th as an important date in our history! We celebrated two years by embracing our nerdy side. Eliav surprised me with tickets to Radiolab Live - Apocalyptical. I love me some NPR!
At the end of the show, Eliav was acting a tad disappointed. Turns out, he had contacted the producers and asked them to give a shout-out for our two year anniversary. They didn't--but it was a very sweet attempt!
I gotta say, I think I prefer the radio version of the show. I found the live show to be a tad long. But it was really fascinating to see the faces behind the familiar voices!
